Drawing
I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil- but my career truly started in high school when I began entering and winning drawing competitions. Even as I began entering the realm of digital art and graphic design I was still freelancing with private traditional drawing commissions or making personal traditional art! Figure studies are my favorite- a few sketchbook spreads are included below to showcase some of my different styles and pieces!

Freedom of Speech. 1st place for the 'Drawing' Group in the Congressional Art Competition 2015, 2nd place Overall. Was featured in the Capitol, and featured in Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman's office for multiple years.

Sadly, some of my drawing collections are lost to time and water damage. I had a series of charcoal birds that were displayed at the Kean University gallery. The image to the right is part of a series of portraits of Polish writers, displayed at the Henryk Sienkiewicz Consulate school in NYC. All drawn with 7 pt lead, on lined paper.

Live Figure Studies are my favorite events! Both for personal practice, or teaching. Movement is so important, and figure studies are the best way to learn how lines flow, and how to put less pressure on your lines.
I recently hosted a Drawing meetup at the MET with fellow artists! I taught some live/ quick drawing tips, and we practiced sketching at different timed increments. This was my page of work before I focused on assisting others.
I am currently working on a compilation comic of all my daily figure studies titled '365', to be released in '26 ! Scanning all the pages is taking the longest amount of time.

Examples of notes taken during some of my drawing/sketching classes! These were fundamentals/ figure and character drawing lessons.

Printmaking
I love printmaking! I'm self taught, and have been working with carving + printing for about 3 years now. Other than personal projects, I have sold prints, clothes with print designs, and mini stamps! Recently I've been working on very large and detailed pieces to debut at the New York Renaissance Festival- sadly many are still WIPS!

This is color testing/ prep for a children's book illustration faire where I'll offer live prints of anyone's name in the form of a caterpillar!
